Tonke Classics

It all started in 2005 when Maarten van Soest built the first Tonke-with-the-round-roof. An exclusive classic. The design refers to old vehicles, railway carriages, horse carriages. It may well be an anti-design. The construction does not follow the design, but the design follows the construction. The round roof is strong, almost indestructible. Elements from the tradition of Dutch yacht building have always been present. The beautiful combination of convex lacquered mahogany, brass and stainless steel. This classic is still built in our workshop. Every year customers from all over the world find their way to Terheijden to order their exclusive dream vehicle.
