The Tonke Basecamp is a completely new camper concept. This vehicle combines the agility of a compact van with the comfort and space of a larger camper van. Ideal for everyday use as well as long journeys, all year round.
Built on the latest generation Volkswagen Transporter, the Basecamp offers a modern and powerful foundation with surprisingly generous interior space.
The Basecamp is designed to offer the comfort level of a large camper, in a practical and manageable size.
Inside, you will find a spacious seating area for four people, a generous bed measuring 130 x 230 cm, and plenty of storage space. The large kitchen is equipped with a two-burner induction hob and a spacious 85 litre refrigerator.
Thanks to features such as underfloor heating, a hot water boiler and large water tanks, the Basecamp is perfectly suited for extended travel in all weather conditions.
As you would expect from Tonke, the Basecamp is full of smart solutions. The seating area can be converted into an extra bed, and the interior offers an exceptional amount of storage space.

Available with various powertrains, including a powerful plug-in hybrid version.
