Fixed furniture set with smart kitchen

The Explorer is equipped with a fixed, high-quality furniture set. Thanks to the cabinets mounted on the side of the ID.Buzz, you have plenty of storage space. Behind the passenger seat is the compact but complete kitchen unit with two-burner induction hob. When the weather is nice, you can turn the kitchen outside to prepare delicious meals. Optionally, it is even possible to remove the kitchen completely from the vehicle, for a real outdoor cooking experience.

Optional: storage system & relaxation bed

Want extra flexibility? Then opt for the optional storage and bed system. This clever system provides space to store things neatly and is accessible from both inside and outside. In no time, a lower bed (90x200 cm) can be created, which easily turns into a comfortable recliner thanks to the built-in “recliner” function.

Unique lift roof for your Tonke ID. Buzz

Experience more space, comfort and freedom with Tonke's innovative lift roof, specially designed for the tall Volkswagen ID. Buzz. This unique design opens to the side, creating a generous 135 × 210 cm bed and plenty of headroom in the interior.

The lifting roof was developed entirely in-house by Tonke, in the Netherlands. For the tent fabric, Tonke works together with Karsten Tenten, a Dutch specialist in custom-made tent solutions. The canvas is made of material from TenCate, a global player in the field of technical textiles. This high-quality fabric is breathable and moisture-regulating, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate - even on hot summer days or in humid conditions.

When the roof is open, it also serves as a handy shelter. Ideal for a coffee break in the shade, or as shelter during a rainstorm.
